RWBY?

Heheh, remember that old fan RWBY team I made (barely) a while back? Well, I'm going to try again. I've got one member's base (based off of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi), but I'm trying to find other characters (folk lore, fairy tales, legends, etc) to base the other three off of. I've already got their colors and some of their names. Here they are (info) as follows, from leader to others:

Leader:

Name: Celadon Vert ("Celadon" from the actual color, and "Vert" from a green tincture of a coat of arms)

color(s): Green

gender: female

species: human

tale/legend/myth/etc they're based off of: Echidna

Semblance: unknown (suggestions?)


Others:

Name: Roxy "Rikki-Tikki" Gules ("Roxy" makes me think of the color brown, kind of like "rocks" (his original name was "Oxy," derived from "oxide," a compound that normally turns metals red or brown), and "Gules" is a tincture of red; in the original story he's based on, he protected his garden from enemies, which relates to his emblem being a fancy coat of arms sheild)

Color(s): Red/brown

Gender: Male

Species: Faunus (Mongoose faunus; has tail, no ears)

Tale/legend/myth/etc they're based on: Rikki-Tikki-Tavi

weapon: two daggers (named "Natter" and "Prattle," which are based on Nag and Nagaina) that connect together to form nun-chucks (they have a mechanism that covers the blade so that when they connect/shift form he doesn't stab himself)

Semblance: rally attention (when used, he makes all attention to either himself or one other person he chooses; the downside is that when not used on himself it lasts much shorter and uses more energy and focus; this ability is based on when in the story (I don't remember whether it was in the book, in the MfTV short, or in both) he convinced one of the birds to be a distraction while he stole/destroyed the snakes eggs)

Nationality: Indian

Personality: Very nosy, friendly, loyal, quick to anger/aggravate (for combat or otherwise), protective

extra info: - has a teddy bear named Teddy (based on the boy of the family he was tasked to protect in the original story) which he's extremely protective of.

- hates snakes with a burning passion

- when his "gut feeling" says something is wrong, he begins "ticking," which is where his nickname "Rikki-Tikki" comes from (comes from the original story, where he would begin ticking when being aggro'd).

- he has brown/dark/Indian skin tone

- he's ferocious and unrelenting in battle; loves sneaking up on people, even when not in battle; tends to not know when to stop attacking


Name: Klear Argent ("Klear" is an 'extreme kool letterz' version of "clear," which is many times used for monochrome colors; "Argent" is a silver tincture in the coat of arms)

semblance: unknown (suggestions?)


Name: Turquoise Or ("Turquoise" is a blue mineral, and "Or" is from a yellow tincture used in coats of arms)

color(s): Blue and yellow

gender: male

species: faunus (falcon, scales on arms/legs)

Tale/legend/myth/etc they're based on: Thunderbird

Nationality: Native American (has darker skin; comes from the origin of the legend)

weapon: staff that becomes a grapple/spear

Semblance: can absorb electricity and "whiplash" it back at others; static electricity (as in, socks on a carpet and similar) will give him a "negative aura," that can make people feel funny; the downsides are that the amount of electricity he can attack with is proportional to what he absorbed, so he can run out. also, his "negative aura" ability can make people's machinery (including his teammates, computers/etc) go all wonky and/or explode, along with the fact that if exposed to an electric current for to long, he can overload/begin getting damaged)

Together, they make team CRKT (Circuit), and are rivals of team PALE; who's lead by Pepper Stoker.


Again, I want some suggestions for myths/legends/folk tales to base the tale-less ones off of. I hope you like them so far!
